Many people, even attorneys who specialize in areas of law outside
the scope of political campaign fundraising are often unaware of
Virginia's unique campaign fundraising laws.  Rather than explain
the process verbally to every person who is not yet familiar with
campaign fundraising in the State of Virginia, we have clearly
outlined our commission based salary scale.  Please note that per
campaign finance law, we fully comply with all campaign policies,
rules and procedures.  At first glance and to the uninitiated,
campaign finance often sounds somewhat like a pyramid scheme.  It
is clearly not a pyramid scheme.  The monies that are donated,
raised and contributed are clearly tracked from their original
sources and the amounts are not only subject to strict Virginia State
Board of Elections rules, but also clearly required by law to be
disclosed to the public, therefore, it is virtually impossible for there
to be any improprieties in this regard.

The issue that some who are new to campaign finance have is that
such individuals are not exactly accustomed to seeing and dealing
with incredibly large sums of money.  One must understand that
there are highly competitive individuals involved in politics who are
sometimes funded by other various individuals of whom the latter
tend to be incredibly wealthy.  Therefore, it is sometimes difficult for
a candidate to compete against challengers and opponents if the
candidate does not have hundreds of thousands of dollars and
sometimes even millions of dollars in his/her account.  Again, this is
in no way a pyramid scheme--this is the political arena and in
Virginia, believe it or not, when it comes to state elections, the State
Board of Elections and the people have spoken in that, it is clearly
written into our law:  There are no limits on the amount of campaign
contributions that a candidate is allowed to receive.  Does that
sound illegal?  Well...to each state its own.  In Virginia, Virginians
decided their own state laws and that is how the ball bounces.
Virginians see nothing illegal in that if someone wants to give a
candidate one billion dollars ($1,000,000,000) or more...why not?
Other states may differ in their laws, needless to say, Virginia is in
proximity to the nation's capital and has a long, tried, true, and
tested, history and tradition of orchestrating political campaigns.
Another thing to consider is that...these are
not federal elections, as
federal elections processes are completely different.

If you want to run for office in the State of Virginia, please keep in
mind (we cannot overemphasize this) that you are up against
persons from the #1, #2 and #3 wealthiest communities in the United
States of America.

See How Much Money Various Candidates Have Raised

Please not that the above link does not show real-time updates!
Candidates listed or unlisted may have millions of dollars more than
what is currently shown.

Though staggering as it may seem, it becomes very clear that in the
State of Virginia it is almost virtually infeasible and quite improbable
for an individual candidate to stand any chance of success without
top dollars.  Some may view this as daunting and unfair, but
however one perceives the process, that is the reality of how things
are within the scope of modern politics.

Given the above, one must also understand that rather than
duplicate effort by providing information pertaining to our campaign
pay scale as it relates to contractors and employment, we have
made available all pertinent information right here on the Web in a
clear and comprehensive format.

Again, one must understand that if he/she decides to work in the
arena of political campaign finance and seeks to be paid for doing
so, the payment process with respect to salary is very straight
forward.  The elections take place in November of 2009.  Meanwhile,
candidates are raising millions of dollars to compete with one
another.  Generally speaking, a person in the private sector who
closes a business deal resulting in millions of dollars of new monies
and/or assets being generated and thus being made available,
he/she usually receives a sizeable commission.  It is very simple.
That is how business is conducted.  Undertaking business in any
sector whether it be the business of politics, working with non-profit
organizations, the government or private sector, involving large
settlements of financial transactions requires a great deal of time,
patient, effort and therefore energy.  The end result is a large
commission.  These are the natural dynamics of a modern business
world, i.e., the more monies and funds that a person is bringing to
the table, the bigger the payoff.  In addition and in a time of
economic uncertainly, please keep in mind that government taxes
on $50,000 annual salary may be more considerable than at first
thought.

It is no secret that campaign finance can be highly lucrative and very
beneficial for the candidate, the party and the fundraiser.  Somebody
has to do it, and naturally it requires a tremendous amount of
energy, resources, patience, dedication and resolve.  Sure the
payoff is huge, but that again, is simply the nature of this particular
playing field.  Not everyone has aspirations to be in politics or to
work as a part of a political fundraiser.  For those who do decide to
raise funds as part of a political finance campaign, such individuals
quickly learn that it can be quite challenging, but that in the long run,
it is most rewarding.

This is how our campaign finance commission based salary works:

Get involved.  Get paid.  Work with us.  Help raise some funds.  Get
Anna elected.  If you bring a donor to the table, you keep 50% of the
contribution.  Being in politics is a job that comes with either a paid
salary or a commission based salary...or both.  Not everyone is
legally qualified to accept funds as part of a political campaign,
whereas
we are.  If you work, you get paid unless you want to
simply volunteer your time to helping Anna, as some people do.
Nonetheless, this is a multimillion dollar fundraising operation that is
not limited to the State of Virginia or the United States of America.  If
you bring a donor from somewhere in the United States or from
overseas who wishes to contribute $100,000/$1,000,000 or more to
Anna's political campaign, you definitely provided a grand service
and as per the legal agreement for providing such a service to and
for the Anna Marie Choi campaign, you keep and are therefore paid
$50,000/$500,000.

This is how political fundraising works.  It works no other way.

You have to be paid for your service if you are working for the Anna
Marie Choi campaign, as we are not a non-profit organization.
Naturally, the campaign has expenses that must be paid.  A
non-profit, for example, 501(c)3, is different.  We are not a 501(c)3.
Donations and contributions to the Anna Marie Choi campaign are
not refundable and are not tax deductible.  Politics is a business and
has always and forever been referred to as the "business of
politics."  And sure, various PACs (Political Action Campaigns) are
organized as non-profit organizations, but again and please keep in
mind, we are not a PAC.  We are the official campaign fundraiser for
Anna Marie Choi, for the 37th District House of Delegate.

When you have officially worked for Anna's campaign, as a
non-volunteer and as a successful fundraiser who wishes to work
with us for the long-term (or, perhaps even short-term), certainly,
you will require a fee for your fundraising services--50% of whatever
you bring to the table, as per our agreed upon fee schedule and
campaign fundraiser payment distribution equation.  In other words,
you need to get paid for the work you do.  If you bring $100,000 to
the table, you definitely deserve to keep $50,000, i.e., half of the
money, especially if you are working with us all year long.  Again, if
you earn $50,000 while fundraising with us, consider and be sure to
remember how much you will likely be left with after you have paid
taxes on your $50,000 of earned income for the year.   If you raise
one million or more, the same formula applies.  If you are
going to help Anna raise funds, a good place to begin is here:

http://www.asianamerican.net/organizations.html

Be a diplomat, do some research, find some donors and some
wealthy individuals with money to contribute; talk to some people,
get more politically involved more than you ever have been, get out
in the field, raise some funds, get some monies put into the account
and help Anna win!

Does the above sound strange, different, unusual, exciting, thrilling,
and intriguing?  Believe it or not, most Americans are unaware that
this is precisely and exactly what politicians do in Congress 90% of
the time.  That's right!  It is so true that they are just like
telemarketers, but instead raise millions and billions more in
funds...just from talking to their constituents on the phone, talking to
people in public, having drinks and dinners, partying, meeting the
right people...and well...asking for cash.  Again, believe it or not...this
is exactly and precisely what they in fact do.  Now ask yourself, why
aren't more people involved in politics?  One answer is that most
Americans are unaware of what really goes on behind the scenes
and if they were aware, more people would be involved.  Consider
all the benefits.  The Anna Marie Choi campaign is an opportunity for
you to not only make changes in government and society at large, to
really and truly have your voice heard, but also a career opportunity
of perhaps epic and historic proportions.

Pick up the telephone book and make some cold calls just like your
Congressional representative does, except, in this case, ask for
individuals to help Anna Marie Choi get elected.

Remember, whatever money you bring in to Anna's campaign, you
get a check for half the amount.

Anna is accustomed and quite used to making $50,000 per month, at
least, and was doing that for many years before she ever ran for the
House of Delegate position for the State of Virginia.  The reason why
we tell you that is so that you very clearly know that Anna Marie
Choi is someone who knows how to go above and beyond the call
of duty, independently, by herself, and without working from
paycheck to paycheck.  She has very much demonstrated that
almost anyone with the proper initiative and dedication can earn
much more capital than ever before.  Anna and her team know how
to secure economic and overseas, international development
contracts that benefit our communities right here in the United
States, as well as all the individuals and various parties involved.
We understand foreign affairs/global affairs and international
relations.  In addition, various members of Anna's campaign have
worked in defense, security and intelligence related fields.  We
believe in a strong, national defense, as well as being fiscally sound.

The Anna Marie Choi campaign does everything by the book and
retains legal counsel.  One must understand that in a global
campaign of this proportion, multi-millions of dollars are involved,
especially given that in the wake of Obama's ascension to President
of the United States, Anna serves to further diversify the political
landscape.  In addition, the Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg
is one of the most successful billionaires in North America and the
beautiful Anna Marie Choi,

Korean/Asian American state cheerleader champion/successful real
estate agent-broker/international trade negotiator is now one of
Michael Bloomberg's key political proponents and key allies.

Anna Goes Green Worldwide!

Sincerely,

Anna Marie Choi Campaign for State of Virginia House of Delegate
