Thus again, current levels of traffic congestion can be easily mitigated with a competent team of actuarial scientists, civil engineers and government oversight. Opponents to the integration and implementation of light rail systems often cite incidents in various states in which there have been numerous issues with newly created light rail systems. The problem with such projects is quite simple to explain in each and every aforementioned case: mismanagement...mismanagement...and more mismanagement. Anna Marie Choi's team of technical experts can very easily manage a light rail integration into our Northern Virginia communities. Opponents of the light rail initiative almost always ask the same question: Where could we possibly put a light rail system? Are the opponents serious when they ask the question above? By the way, take note that creation of a light rail system in Virginia will create over 160,000 new jobs. Our initial response is: Are they serious? We put a remote-controlled, robotic vehicle on Mars...that has worked quite well. Therefore, how difficult is it to lay some track on earth? Hello! The answer is simple: We are scientists and we can put the light rail system almost anywhere there is room and wherever there is space. Another major issue is complacency as alluded to above and with regard to current politicians not taking the correct and proper steps in which to fix traffic problems. It is rather obvious that various 'road and highway projects' are funded, but that they take incredibly long to materialize--much too long in which to materialize. Consequently, the average citizen is left wondering if anything is really being done to help alleviate traffic woes. If we ask the average citizen whether he/she believes anything is really being done to improve the flow of traffic, the answer is again obvious--nothing it would seem. There seem to be a lot of monetary kickbacks to contractors for road and highway projects that never seem to help as we the citizens of Northern Virginia are often told and promised such projects will help. These insults to our intelligence must come to cessation. Opponents of the light rail system do not want you to think about the fact that Northeast Asia consists of some of the world's most sophisticated, and most highly advanced, ultra state-of-the-art, 21st century, light rail systems...that work just fine. Some opponents want to keep their friends in office so that things can simply remain as they are and as they have been...at your expense. Our message and platform are clear... Please...Rail Now! "More Trains, Less Traffic" Rail cuts dependency on the need for oil. Please build Rail into our communities. Rail on the Beltway! |
